More is More, Not Less

Sifting through all the folders of written work, I find I have written plenty over the years.

Editing needs to be done to some of the manuscripts.

Yesterday I opened what I thought was an outline for a story book and found I had actually already written it. I need illustrations.

I am uploading the poems into the poetry book format. I found an article by an author who had published a chapbook of poetry on Createspace. Her book contains poems about cats.

Sitting with my middle son at breakfast on Friday, I mention the new title for the poetry book. He improves on it and explains why.

I have so much already written. Someone once said “less is more” (Who coined the term less is more?Ludwig Mies van der Rohe coined the phrase “Less is More” but apparently he borrowed it from poet Robert Browning. As one of the great figures of 20th century architecture, his principles were centered around order, logic and clarity.)
